Subtitle Studio is designed with a privacy-first approach. All video processing, audio transcription, and subtitle generation happens locally on your device (offline).

• Your video files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud.
• We do not have access to your video content, audio, or generated subtitles.
• The AI models run locally on your Mac using Apple's Neural Engine.

3. Information We Collect

Since our core functionality works offline, we collect very limited information:

• License Information: When you purchase a license, we process your payment through our payment provider (e.g., Stripe) and generate a license key. We store the email address associated with the purchase to send you the license key and for support purposes.
• App Analytics (Optional): We may collect anonymous usage data (such as app crashes, feature usage statistics) to improve the application. This data is not linked to your identity or your content. You can opt-out of this at any time.
• Update Checks: The app periodically checks our servers to see if a new version is available. This request includes your current app version and OS version but no personal data.

4. Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processors to process payments. We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
